it's finally here. my test.

friday. qualifiers. i'll see how i measure up to all the novice climbers in singapore.

we trained hard for 7 months.taking weird falls, finger-busting moves and crazy flying around. to become better and mote importantly, to have fun. there is no wonder that we have a bit of expectations for this competition.

especially that we are playing on home ground.

Boulderactive is organised by our climbing sub-club.

Defend our turf, i always say. it's not so much about personal glory or what. it's to carry the name of our team to higher levels.

we worked like cows to carry the giant mattresses from school to PS. such back-breaking tasks were a distant memory going back to the days when I had to pack the signal sets for camp-shifting. that was utterly shiong.

i will take the bus on friday, listening to my favourite songs. drop off at potong pasir and head down to dhoby ghaut. my heart will be pounding as i step onto the escalator. when i step out of the station and see the 4 walls, i will be engulfed by a sudden wave of excitement, nerves and happiness. or happyness.

Open Finals Women Category: 1610H – 1750H m
Open Qualifiers Men Category: 1820H – 2000H (The most exciting one)
