Baybeats 05

Ok,so i didn't see any crazy women throw their bras and panties onstage.no one body surfed either, probably because they know tt the singaporean crowd wouldn't bother carrying them through and will just drop them and leave them for dead.
Still,Baybeats was real entertaining and fun.kudos to the local bands simply for being there.I thoroughly enjoyed every performance, even the Malay songs by The Marilyns.Yah i don't understand a single word but hey,its all abt the music man.its universal. There was Serenaide,Electrico,The Marilyns.I heard some Death Of Cinema, really ambient, solid rock.Lucy in the Loo from Msia wasn't too bad either.Fronted by this skinny little girl with a big clear voice.Electrico seriously brought the house down with Running Away.couldn't help singing along.Oh yah and i saw the chiobu vocalist from Lunarin, though i didn't stay for their set. She's a real rock queen.
There's Copeland. This obscure band from Florida.Singer sure can sing man.Luckily Spencer(army fren la) told me abt them n i rushed down with lora to catch their acoustic set.superb vocals, real melancholic.and this lora was like gushing over him la.
"haha he laugh so cute."
"wah his voice damn good"
"eh he say he'll take photo with me!"
and how did i respond?
"yeah"
"yeah"
"really?"
never mind.their last performance at the Arena was electrifying.couldn't help moving to the beats. The drummer damn zai,the guitarist damn zai,the bassist zai,the singer damn zai.just zai la.they've this song "No one really wins",great vocals, nice chords, nice beat.check it out, maybe download it.can send me too.
and yes, people actually stand still when watching a rock concert.like what the hell?think concerto?chinese opera?eh move a little jiggle a little la.or you all stiff cannot move?every wed go mambo confirm can dance one la.cannot dance at least will learn to move your head up and down a bit.

see you next year at baybeats 06.
