Rockclimbing

Climbing is about adventure. The exploration of the body and mind's extremes and possibilities. The wandering into territories new to you and climbing walls that you pioneered or others have pioneered. It is a sport that draws you into a world of thrill-seeking and nature-loving. It is different from other sports such that you are always in a different setting when you travel to other places to climb, and you experience something new everytime, be it stormy weather or more insect bites. Any other sport fails to give you this enriching opportunity as all you need is a court or apparatus and the venue doesn't matter at all. Unless of course, its an outdoor sport.
The most beautiful routes in the world are the ones that matter the most to you. You may have only tried a 6a, but it may be the most precious moment in your climbing experience because of the beauty of the line, or it made you feel like you had your heart in your mouth, or you learnt an important life lesson like never disturb a wasp nest or wear a helmet everytime. Climbing is so beautiful in the sense that people are enveloped by nature's grace everytime they go up the rock, and they appreciate nature for having carved out a possible way up this rock so that we can learn how our bodies move as well as look at what is around us from another perspective. We also learn to appreciate the people we climb with, whom we trust our lives with when we go up a route, spotting and belaying us faithfully all the time that we are hangdogging.
Go out there and discover for yourself what makes you climb. See for yourself what nature has to offer. Love climbing.
